And the opening date in Marlborough is....

.... Thursday, April 2nd. Open 11am - 10pm.

We still have one last permit to take care of, but we are feeling really good. Staff is almost totally hired, training schedule is set, we have our Certificate of Occupancy from the town, and tomorrow morning our first (semi-real) food order goes in. The register system is almost totally installed and we've even entered pricing into the system.

The store's phone number is (508) 281-4855 if you want more information. Ask for Rich, Doug or Matt.

See you next week!

Congrats on the franchise!

I saw the help wanted in the Worcester T&G and then to your blogs.

I first heard of Five Guys on The Bubba The Love Sponge radio show about a year ago, but I have yet to try one even though I work pretty close to the Dedham location.

I will now promise to make the Marlboro location my first Five Guys experience! Much success!

We're trying to get the Obamas to come up. Here is a clip from today's New York Times:

"How about a tasty meal? The Obamas have enjoyed... street-corner casual at Ben’s Chili Bowl and Five Guys Burgers and Fries."

I was there on opening day standing outside the door. You're right next to my office which is great, but I'll be keeping my visits to once a month at most for fitness reasons :).

YUM - Enjoyed a great bacon cheeseburger today and some cajun fries. And Mr. Pibb - how did you smuggle that into New England?! You must have had about 65 employees behind the counter, all moving so fast they were a blur. Congrats on a great setup, delicious food, and thanks for sharing so many details here on the blog.

Thanks for your comments -- nice to have fans out there. As for Mr. Pibb, we didn't get a choice on that one, but I used to live in North Carolina and used to drink Mr. Pibb with really spicy chicken once in a while. It was a good change every once in a while from Coke.

So I've been a few times in the last few weeks...a dangerous trend for the waistline :)

You guys rank up there with my all time favorite in-n-out burger, any chance if I ordered a burger "animal style" I wouldn't get strange looks?

Please post some pictures of your finished space...when you get a chance. I would like to see how it turned out.

Thanks
